PRINCIPLES OF MULTIPLICATION
I.
The principles of multiplication was introduced to
mankind at creation: Gen. 1:27-28 “be fruitful and
multiple”
A.
Def Multiply: to increase in whatever respect, abundance,
enlarge, be in authority
B.
The Patriarchs would speak the blessings of multiplication over their
children: Gen 28:1-4 / vs 3 “multiply thee”
C.
When God changed Jacob’s name to Israel he spoke the blessing
of multiplication over him: Gen. 35:10-13

fruitful and multiply”
II.
FIRST KEY to walking in the principle of multiplication:
OUR WALK
A.
Gen 17:1 “walk before Me blameless” Def Blameless:
perfect, integrity, undefiled
1. Results of walking
“blameless” before The Lord: Gen 17:2 “multiply
thee exceedingly”
2. “Walk in the
Spirit” Gen 5:16 & 25 is how we walk blameless before
The Lord
a. 1 Jn 2:6 “Walk,
even as He (Jesus) walked”
3. Amp Trans Gen 17:1
“..walk and live habitually before Me, & be perfect
(blameless, wholehearted, complete”
B. We are to Walk in
”OBEDIENCE” toward:
1. The Word of God
2. Voice & leading of
Holy Spirit &
3. Those in authority in
our life, including:
a. those in authority
position of government, and employment b. Those in spiritual
authority in our life
c. Family order:
parents / spouse
4. Walking in obedience
releases the blessings of God into our life:
a. Isa 1:19 & 20
vs 19If ye be willing & obedient, ye shall
eat the good of the land”
III.
Second key to walking in the principles of multiplication: A
FAITH FILLED CONFESSION
A.
Gen 26:15-22 1. Note vs 22 “we shall be fruitful in the
land.”
1. Wells:
represent life & the blessing of God
a. Enemy /
type of the devil would stop up the wells / type of trying to stop
the blessing of God from flowing
Into the next
generation
2. Isaac refused to be
negative, regardless of obstacles & kept a faith filled
confession
a. Are we cursing or
blessing our habitation
IV.
Third key to walking in the principles of multiplication: OUR
SOWING
A.
We live by the seed we sow, regardless of the conditions or situation
we are facing
1. Gen. 26:1 “And
there was a famine in the land...”
Gen 26:12 “Then
(note: in the midst of famine) Isaac sowed
2. Results of faithfully
sowing : vs 12 “received....hundredfold: and the Lord
blessed him”
3. Look at the principle
of increase manifesting as further result of Isaac faithfully sowing:
a. Gen 12:13 “waxed
/ grew great....went forward....became very great
(prosperous)”
(1) NEVER JUDGE A
PERSONS HARVEST, UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THE SIZE OF THEIR SEED
THEY HAVE SOWN
(a) Lk 6:39 (the size
of our harvest is determined by the size / measure of the seed we
sow)
(b) 2 Cor 9:6 soweth
sparingly: reap sparingly......soweth bountifully: reap bountifully
(c) Gal 6:7 “whatever
a man soweth, that shall he also reap
B.
You must be convinced that it is God’s will to bless &
prosper you: 3 Jn. 2
1. Def Prosper: to
have a prosperous journey, to succeed in business affairs
a. Prosper: spiritually /
soul....health: physical & emotional....& financially
C.
WE ARE TO DESIRE THE POWER OF GOD IN OUR LIFE:
1. A strong anointing: Isa
10:27 “the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing”
2. Also, the power of God
to break the spirit of lack & poverty:
a. Deut. 8:18
“..remember The Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee
power to get wealth”
(1) the power of God
manifesting in our life enables us to receive wealth
(2) the power of the
devil in the lives of people that enables them to partake of lack &
poverty
(A) which power is
manifesting in our life?
D. Jesus encountered
poverty on Calvary’s Cross: 2 Cor. 8:9 “He became poor”
1. Principles of
multiplication are for the New Testament believer: Gal 3:13 -
14
a. “The blessing
of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through Jesus
Christ....might receive the
promise of the
Spirit through faith”
(1) including:
receiving the Person of The Holy Spirit & the same promises of
multiplication spoken to Abraham
